Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Pravo Group processes and protects the personal data of website visitors. We rely on the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 21 May 2013 No. 94-V "On Personal Data and its Protection" and try to write simply and clearly.
1. General provisions
This Privacy Policy sets out the procedure for processing and protecting the personal data of users of the Pravo Group website (hereinafter — the Website).
Personal data operator: Pravo Group, Almaty, 1 Abylai Khan Avenue, telephone +7 778 325 44 44, email info@pravogroup.kz (hereinafter — the Operator).
The Policy applies to all personal data that the Operator receives through the Website, by telephone, in WhatsApp, by email, as well as during in-person appointments at the office.
The Policy operates in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 21 May 2013 No. 94-V "On Personal Data and its Protection" (hereinafter — the Law).
2. What data we receive
The Website does not contain forms with input fields and does not itself collect names, telephone numbers or documents. Personal data reaches the Operator when a person writes in WhatsApp, calls or sends an email.
Depending on the enquiry, this may include: name, telephone number, email address, information about the case that the person provides voluntarily, as well as files and documents if they send them.
When using the Website, technical data may be processed automatically: IP address, information about the browser and device, date and time of visit, pages viewed, cookies and records in browser memory (localStorage). Essential records ensure the operation of the Website; analytical counters are enabled only with your consent (section 5). Client reviews are published on the Website with their consent: only the name, date and text of the review are indicated; contact details and information about the case are not disclosed.
3. Purposes of processing
Personal data is processed for specific purposes:
- responding to an enquiry and passing it to the Executor — a lawyer, advocate or notary who provides assistance on the matter;
- concluding and performing a contract for the provision of legal services;
- handling the case, preparing documents, interacting with government bodies and courts;
- improving the operation of the Website and analysing anonymised visit statistics;
- complying with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Operator does not use personal data for purposes incompatible with those listed without the separate consent of the data subject.
4. Legal grounds and consent
Personal data is processed on the basis of the Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the consent of the data subject.
Consent is given by taking active steps: sending a message in WhatsApp, making a call or sending an email to the Operator's address. If you do not agree to processing, please do not send us your data.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting us using the details set out in section 9. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was received. Consent cannot be withdrawn if this would conflict with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan or if an obligation remains unperformed, for example under an existing legal services agreement (Article 8 of the Law).
5. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses essential technical records without which it cannot function correctly: your choice on the cookie banner and your search history on the Site are stored in your browser's memory (localStorage) and are not transferred to the Operator. Search history can be cleared directly in the search bar. A technical cookie eco_ab may be set for 90 days to test button design options. It does not contain personal data.
To analyse traffic, the Site uses Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics 4. The counters are loaded only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner; if you decline, they do not start. Metrica may record actions on the page (Webvisor, click map): scrolling, clicks and cursor movement. There are no forms with input fields on the Site. The services receive technical data: IP address, device information, pages viewed, clicks on the WhatsApp button and questions opened in the FAQ section. You can change your choice by clearing the Site's data in your browser settings: the banner will then appear again. The map block on the Site's pages embeds Yandex and Google maps. When they load, these services may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own rules. The 2GIS link opens on that service's website.
Disabling cookies and clearing the Site's data in your browser may affect the operation of certain features of the Site.
6. Transfer to third parties and cross-border transfer
The Operator does not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Transfer is possible to: lawyers, advocates and notaries who provide legal assistance in response to an enquiry (Providers within the meaning of the Site's public offer), to the extent necessary to contact you and carry out a preliminary assessment of the enquiry; state bodies and courts, in the cases and in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan; service providers that support the operation of the Site and communications, to the extent necessary for such services. A Provider that receives your data processes it as an independent operator and is responsible for observing advocate's, notary's or other professional secrecy.
Messages in WhatsApp pass through the WhatsApp service (Meta Platforms). Data from Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics counters, as well as from the embedded Yandex and Google maps, may also be processed on servers outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is a cross-border transfer of personal data. It is carried out in the manner set out in Article 16 of the Law, including to states that may not provide protection of personal data at the level of the Republic of Kazakhstan. By sending a message in WhatsApp or clicking "Accept" on the cookie banner, you consent to such transfer. If you do not wish to transfer data via WhatsApp, contact the Operator by phone, by email or in person at the office.
The content of enquiries relating to a case is protected by professional (advocate's) secrecy in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
7. Storage and protection
Personal data is stored for as long as is necessary for the purpose of processing. Case files and agreements are stored for the periods established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including on the National Archival Fund and archives, on advocate's activity and legal assistance, and on notarial activity. Once the purpose has been achieved, the storage period has expired or consent has been withdrawn (if there are no other lawful grounds for processing), the data is destroyed or anonymised. The database containing personal data of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan is stored by the Operator on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 12 of the Law.
The Operator takes legal, organisational and technical measures to protect personal data from unlawful access, alteration, disclosure and destruction. Only authorised employees and specialists who need it for their work have access to the data.
8. Rights of the data subject
You have the right:
- to know whether the Operator holds your personal data and to receive information about it: what data is processed, for what purpose, by what means and for what periods;
- to require the rectification, blocking or destruction of data if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or unlawfully obtained;
- to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data;
- to require the deletion of your personal data if it is no longer needed for the purpose of processing;
- to appeal against the actions (inaction) of the Operator to the authorised body in the field of personal data protection or to a court, and also to claim compensation for harm in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
To exercise your rights, send a request using the contacts in section 9: in writing or by email. State your name and a means of contact so that the Operator can verify that the request comes from you. The Operator will consider the request and reply within the manner and time limits established by the Law.
